The Smart Destination Awards, by the Instituto Turístico Hotelero (ITH), recognise the applicability of the platform created in Menorca and its contribution to added value.
The first edition of the Smart Destination Awards, convened by the Instituto Turístico Hotelero (ITH), has awarded Mabrian in their category “Promotion and marketing of the destination”. This recognition was made public yesterday at the forum #techYdestino FITURTECH, the innovation and tourist technology hub from the Feria Internacional del turismo de Madrid, FITUR.
The Smart Destination Awards collect the best solutions and technological tools applied on Spanish tourist destinations. The jury, composed by representatives of the Alianza de Municipios Turísticos Sol y Playa (AMT) and Tourism and Hotel Industry professionals, has valued the technological applications which are currently operational and help the tourist destinations’ managers to deal with the transformation process from Tourist Destination to Smart Destination.
With this recognition, Mabrian will be part of the technological solutions’ catalogue created by the AMT, which groups the main destinations innovating in digital transformation.
The jury has evaluated the maturity of the submitted technological solutions and their applicabitiliy in tourist destinations, as well as their impact and added value to solve the identified challenges.
