Analysis of the main tourist attractions from London, Paris and Madrid, according to their visitors.
The Eiffel Tower, constitutes the most mentioned tourist attraction by Europe visitors on 2017, with more than 680 thousand mentions processed by Mabrian‘s BIG Data and Travel Intelligence platform, between January 1 and December 10. It is the best located focus point in a city that counts on other centers very well located, as the Louvre Museum (with almost 300 thousand Mentions) and the theme park Disneyland Paris (215 thousand mentions).
The French capital counts with two other very solid centers from global conversation’s point of view: the cathedral of Notre dame and Montmartre exceed 100 thousand mentions each.
London and Madrid.
In London, the London Eye leads the most popular venues, with more tan 81 thousand mentions, followed by the Big ben (more tan 78 thousand mentions) and the Tower Bridge (more tan 71 thousand). The following ones are Hyde park and Westminster (both venues with around 44 thousand mentions)
As for Madrid, the Retiro Park counts more than 66 thousand mentions, in front of the Gran Via (more tan 43 thousand) and the Palacio Real (more tan 32 thousand).
Paris, London and Madrid surpass 80 points in the Global Tourist index (GTi) Mabrian and accumulate more than 27 millions of references in tourist Big Data collected and processed by the Travel Intelligence technological enterprise.
Specifically, when talking about satisfaction, Paris leads the Global Tourist Perception Index (GTPi) with 87,57 points (out of 100), followed by Madrid (85,44) and London (81,98). However, the British capital is the one getting more mentions (over 14,6 millions), followed by Paris (11,17 millilons), according to the Big Data and Travel Intelligence platform. The volume of mentions collected in Madrid is more than 3,6 millions.
Paris also leads the Tourist Product index (TPi), with 81,21 points, followed by Madrid (75,3) and London (67,89). In terms of climate and security perception, Madrid marks highest scores (88,42 and 91,04 respectively), followed by Paris (83,79 and 90,85) and London (82,23 and 86,84).
The cultural product is, by far, the most mentioned among the tourist that visit these cities: in Paris the mentions of this area reach the 46,22% of the total, while in Madrid they are the 40,74% and in London they reach up to the 39,8%.
